Programs

Here are some of our ongoing programs:

bagGrow Bags

Orphanages throughout the entire former Soviet Union lack funding for even basic essentials such as food and clothing. The Grow Bag Program allows our chapter to gather supplies that can be taken to orphanages by traveling families. Our chapter can provide supplies and a dufflebag. Click here for details.

Family Connections

One of the best supports for families are other families. The first organized support will be an informal telephone network that will help to connect families with similar needs.

The network will be a group of families who have volunteered to act as contacts. The role of these families will be to know the names and telephone numbers of other families with similar needs. The first set of families will represent the various age groups. The support is not designed to replace professional help which is sometimes needed.

In the next newsletter, a list of names and numbers will be available. If you have questions or other ideas, please contact Mary Ellyn.
